I actually picked this Airfix slot car up in a Scalextric Super GT set in a salvos store, that had this rare car and a rare Scalextric Type 1 C050 Lotus JPS with the RX motor. The car didn't take much to get it running, but it was missing all the chrome pieces and the windscreen/canopy. Fortunately, the dimensions were almost identical to the Scalextric version, so I was able to use resin copies I had already made up to finish off the car. I had to cut the windscreen out of a full resin canopy, and even cutting quite a bit off the top, it may still be a bit oversize. Although that may only be because the Airfix driver seems to be a bit undersize.
