This car is my own repro cast version of the Sclextric matra Jet. All parts are cast separately, including bumpers, headlights, indicators, and the entire canopy/windscereen section. The window and lights are all cast in clear resin, and the tailights aren tinted red. I made up my own "HRC" (Hotel Room Chassis) style chassis using some U shaped eletrical ducting, and used the smaller rally wheels to lower the body and the chassis. The cars runs extremely well comapred to the original, as it has a much lower CoG, and a wider track. If anyone wants to build their own Matra Jet, I am selling the complete body kit (includes body, canopy, bumpers and all lights) for $25. All you need to do is paint it up, assemble it and attach it to your own chasis. I have also recently completed the moulds and casts for the companion car, the C1 Renault Alpine, and this kit is also available for the same price. These cars will make a good matched pair, as they are a similar size and weight and construction.
