This car was one of several offered to me by someone whose kids had moved out and he had no further use for it. He had stumbled across my site and asked if I would be interested in the lot (a few cars and some track). Unfortunately, I have too much track already, and also all the cars except this one. Eventually we settled on a figure for the 4 cars, but only because I wanted this one. The condition was fairly poor, but he had found the missing guide, and it cleaned up quite nicely. The motor was full of metal filings, but after cleaning that all up and rewiring it up to the guide, it ran quite well (after a good clean and running in). Next job will be to do a bit of research on decals and/or sponsorship.
