Picked up a couple of these rare cars, although they were both in a mess, with warped and broken chassis and bodies, and most of the external parts broken or missing. Fortunately, I had already made moulds for all the parts for a fellow collector a couple of years back, so was able to make resin copies of all the missing bits. Both motors worked, although one had a broken wire in the windings, so didn't run well, but I was surprised it ran at all. Fortunately I managed to dig up a spare, as it would have been a struggle to fit in a J111 or Mabuchi motor without modifying both chassis and body. Cars are very low and wide, so actually handle quite well, although not particularly fast. Was very happy with the end results though of a couple months of piecemeal restoration work.
