This was a very fortuitous find, in amongst a batch of damaged cars. It is the rare RX version of the 72 JP2, with the number 8 livery. Unfortunately the side decals have faded away, and it was missing wing & airbox, but I did have an original of both parts, although the decals are very faded on that wing as well. The motor, axles and gears were all rusted and gummed up, but it all cleaned up well, and the motor is a strong runner.
