Did a bit of a cleanup and sorting out of my spares boxes and found 3 tops and 3 bottoms of the C54 Lotus (2 of them Australian made), and was able to match them all up in terms of fitment, although the colours did not all match. Picked this one to start with, as it included the old loop braid guide, and I discovered a pair of new new braids in another box. It needed a very good cleanup, and was a bit rough in places, and some paint needed to be stripped off the base. I had to paint the base (which was red) to match the body top (which was yellow), so painted the entire body as well after sanding down all the rough bits, and I'm rather pleased with the results. Found some spare running gear, including a strong RX motor and correct wheels, and was able to get it up and running without too much fuss. Not a great runner because of the drag of the rather stiff loop braids, so may get a conversion to a swivel guide in the near future.
