After coveting one of these for many years, I finally got an opportunity to pick one up in rather poor condition at a reasonable price. As can be seen from the pic of the car as I received it, it needed several missing parts (which I was already able to cast myself, thanks to previous requests from others for those same parts), a new motor (the one in it was beyond repair) and a big hole in the top of the rear body panel filled in. I filled the hole by borrowing a friend's sharknose, making a quick PinkySil Putty mould of the same section of the intact body, then placed the mould over the hole, turned it over and poured resin into the hole, letting it overflow slightly for added strength. I then painted it in as close a red as I could find, then hid it as best I could under a big decal. Not the greates of runners with that old pin guide, but the old thing goes quite well, all things considered.
