This was a recent purchase on ebay, quite dirty and in a bit of a mess when I got it. Managed to clean it up
and strip the unwanted paint off it, and then touched up the black and red body stripes, which had nearly worn away in places.
Both rear lugs had also broken off, so glued a piece of rectangular plastic tubing to the underside of the body, and used a screw
through the chassis to hold the two parts together. I feel this is a neater and stronger solution than the original. It also needed rewiring,
and the motor needed a good service, and was quite sloppy when mounted, so used some tape to hold it in place more firmly. This served to
reduce the noise and also to improve the mesh of gears, which made it run smoother and faster.
