Picked this in a scrapyard bundle as a Yellow C294 body with a broken chassis and a spare Datsun chassis. As it happened, the Datsun chassis was identical to the Pontiac one, apart from the mounting hole at the front, so I used it rather than trying to glue the other chassis back together. Then decided to paint it up as the matching Aussie "RedKote" version, as I already had a complete version of the Bob jane Yellow one. At a request from a fellow collector, attempted to cast a clear window for this model car and it turned out so well, I decided to redo all my versions as well, starting with this one, as its been repainted anyway. Never understood why Scalextric made a driver platform for this car, and then supplied it with blacked out windows.
