This car has been built from scratch, using one of Phil Kalbfel's famous cast bodies. Have tried to replicate Allan Moffat's number 9 car, and made all my own decals. Might need to do them again though, as I was not pleased with the quality, as I was having issues with my printer at the time. have since bought a new printer and am waiting for delivery of some new decal paper. The chassis is hand made using electrical conduit at the core. I have found this to be very cheap, fairly rigid and very easy to cut, file, glue and shape to fit the needs of each car. Currently has an old pink Raynmond motor in it, but its not a particualr good or fast motor, so will eventually replace it with something faster when I get around to building the companion car, a HK Monaro, which will be done in Norm Beechey's livery. Hope to pick up aniother pair of Phil's baody later this year and will probably do street versions of both cars.
