I ended up with a few spare Eldon bodies and some spare chassis, which I thought were cactus. But eventually got 2 good chassis out of them, with all wheels intact and 2 working motors. Added my own resin driver platforms to both, and did my best to get them running well. But to be honest, the Eldon gear is a pile of crap. The motor is high revving, but no torque and so no brakes. These are quite heavy bodies, so there's no hope of slowing down as you approach the corner, you have to back off before you even get half way down the straight. Will eventually see if I can fit a scalex motor, guide and gear into the Eldon chassis, but don't know hwo successful I will be. Could always put a PCS32 chassis under them instead, but was hoping to keep a couple as original as possible, if possible?
