MRRC Kellison - Orange #14 - Scratchbuild using MRRC body on Fly chassis

This car has been built using an MRRC Kellison body and a Fly Ferrari front engined chassis and motor. Have had to narrow the track considerably to get it to look reasonable. Have had the body for a while now, and after test fitting it against a number of different spare chassis I had lying around, this was the only one that would fit due to it being front-engine mounted. The interior is very close to the rear axle, and no rear engined chassis would even come close. Fortunately, the wheelbase was pretty much perfect, so it wasn't too difficult a conversion. I did have to trim a lot off the front, read and sides of the chassis to get it to fit inside the body. It is also very light and I had to add quite abit of lead to the middle and over the axle to give it good traction and balance. The fly chassis is very smooth and quick, and its very nice to drive, even though it is quite short and narrow.
