This was a restoration project I undertook for a fellow collector, who had a couple of these in the original blue colour. He wanted them serviced, tuned, assembled and repainted to resemble real racing versions. We agreed to do a matched red and yellow pair, this being the yellow one obviously. I made up a complete set of decals for this based on the ones the owner purchased, but using the number 12 instead off 11. I also lowered the chassis by a good 1/4 inch to improve the looks and handling, as it sat way too high. Also put new wires and a scalextric guide so it would run on scalextric and compatible track, as the original was too long and thick to work properly. It has the original motor and chassis which runs quite well considering its age. Although these cars aren't mine, I couldn't resist putting them up on my website to show off my skills. Will be adding a couple more of my own later this year, if I get the time.
