I decided to repaint this car Yellow primarily because I already had 3 other Blue Javelins. The other three were slightly different shades of Blue, and this was the same as one of those, so Yellow it became. It was missing most parts when I got it, but once I started casting my own parts, the Javelin rollbar/engine cover and rear wing were some of the first things I cast up, as several of my Javelins had missing and or broken ones. I also modified this body to mount the rear wing, as I think it looks better that way. I also recently started casting clear parts, and bought an original windscreen to make the mould as all of mine were damaged. I have now fitted all my Javelins with my own cast windscreens.
