This the is a Mexican reproduction of the original Scalextric C41. It apperantly uses the same body and parts moulds, but has an SCX motor and tyres. I bought this in an auction with a similar version of the C46 Porsche 917K, as I needed it in order to make moulds to complete an original C41 in very poor condition. The restoration is under way and pics will be coming to the website soon. Did not really like the car at first, as the SCX motor is not all that fast, and is very noisy, and the hnadling was shocking. But then I replaced the standard tyres with some repro tyres made for other spanish cars with very wide rims and channels, and the handling improved out of sight. These tyres have a much lower profile and are wider than the standard ones, sio it lowered the CoG considerably, as well as increasing grip levels. The one I'm restroing has a fast RX motor and will be even nicer to drive once fully restored.
