Managed to pick up this rare body in good condition last year, but only just got around to working on it. The windscreen is a repro, as are the front wheels, driver's head and decals. Ths one has an original RX motor, and runs reasonably well, considering, but I have another badly faded red body that I plan to repaint and fit a Mabuchi motor and standard guide assembly in instead. I wasn't happy with the quality of my cast windscreen, so decided to borrow an original one again and remake the mould, using a slightly different technique. The casts from the new nould turned out much better, and I have replaced the older cast on this car. I also redid the decals, as some of the older ones which I made myself had started to crack, mainly because I hadn't sealed them after applying them. We live and learn.
