This car has been restored from basically just a shell. Nearly all the parts, except for the driver platform, grill and headlights, I cast myself after borrowing a complete version and making my own moulds. It even has repro wheels on the front, and has had a modern Mabuchi equivalent motor installed, along with a modern push in guide assembly. The front end needs some adjustment, as it sits too high for the guide, so will have to either grind the tyres down, or raise the wheels up (or a little of both), so it sits lower and the guide blade is fully in the slot.
