This car has been restored from what was just a yellowed body shell. I let the body soak in pure bleacv for about a week, before removing and cleaning it. It still had a slight aged look, but not quite as bad as it was. I then restored it to complete working condition, using my own repro parts, including bumpers, front wheels, windscreen, and headlights. The car had no motor when I got it, so popped in a J111 motor, as the RX motors are hard to come by, and can be fairly slow, but will pop an RX motor back in at sometime, to keep as close to original as possible. I also gave this car the same guide treatment as the other SL190, converting it to take the screw in RT guide to replace the pin guide, by drilling out the existing guide stem and glueing in a short length of plastic tubing.
