C084 Triumph TR4A Blue #2

This car has been restored with my own repro parts. The body and running gear was in good condition, albeit very dirty and dusty. I had to cast a new windscreen and fuel cap to complete the restoration. I also had to respray all the chrome pieces, as the original chrome had faded and flaked off. For the first time, I also attempted to detail the car by painting all the chrome trim on the body. The raised lettering on the bonnet and trunk proved very difficult and delicate, but the results weren't too bad. After more practise on other cars, might revisit this one and redo it, as I think it could be better. Have recently started replacing all my old inkjet decals with laser decals (which I can only do at work). Although the inkjet paper meant I could print them at home in photo quality and in partial sheets, the edges still tended to bleed, even after repeated sealing, and the unused decals would get more and more brittle over time, so there was a lot of waste. Have also started sealing the decals after applying, so they don't dry out and flake off.
