I was after the airbox for this particular version of the M23 to help a fellow collector, and after not finding anyone I knew with one to borrow, I saw this on ebay and thought I'd have a crack. Its the rare French version of the M23, but I managed to pick it up pretty cheaply, mainly due to the break in the body near the front wheels, which had been poorly repaired. So was able to add a fairly rare car to the collection and help out a fellow collector at the same time. I recently managed to remove all the glue from the original repair, and start the repair all over again. I also re-inforced the break with small metal rods, and drilled a few extra holes and hollows in the body around the break to hold the glue better. I then sanded the excess glue on top and covered up the repair with a new set of decals, that I made myself, modelled from pics of the original racing car.
